45 years ago, Universal Pictures attempted to remake the original King Kong using the same special effects techniques and music by Max Steiner. However Paramount beat them to the punch with their remake in 1976. At the time scripts were written by Oscar winner Bo Goldman and rumored casting included Peter Falk as Carl Denham, Susan Blakely as Ann Darrow and Robert Redford as Jack Driscoll with later Jaws: The Revenge director Joseph Sargent to helm the project based less on the original 1933 classic and more on the Public Domain novelization by Delos W Lovelace. The question is if Universal went through with its production in 1975, what would it end up looking like. Well lets find out with our latest Fan Made Trailer.
